The History
Our founder Dale, first met Ruby Ibarra after an open mic while they were both in college. Her performance left the room speechless. At the time, neither of them knew their careers would one day come full circle.
The Opportunity
Years later, Ruby emerged as one of the most influential voices in Pinay empowerment through music, while Dale built Burgundy Suite into a film production company dedicated to elevating Asian American stories through music videos.
The Reason
When Ruby approached us to direct the documentary behind "Us," we didn't hesitate. We knew this was bigger than a production—it was an opportunity to help tell a story that empowers Pinay women, celebrates cultural identity, and inspires future generations. Together, we helped bring that vision to life.

Festival Nominations
Watching Ruby's journey unfold has been incredibly inspiring. Through years of relentless hard work, she's become a global voice for Pinay empowerment and a trailblazer for women in music.
From lighting up the iconic Times Square billboard in New York City to touring internationally, earning recognition at film festivals and winning NPR's Tiny Desk Contest, Ruby continues to break barriers while opening doors for future generations.
It's been an incredible honor to play a small part in her journey. We're grateful to have helped bring one chapter of her story to life, and we can't wait to see where her impact reaches next.
